Self-proclaimed introvert Sophia Dembling offers insight into why she hates talking on the phone, with an invitation to add to her list of reasons: "So, there are some of the things that have occurred to me but none feels like the reason so many introverts hate the phone. Wow did this ever strike a chord with me! I absolutely hate, hate talking on the phone for all the reasons mentioned here and more. Finally, I know I am not a rare beast and that I have a club of like-minded introverted "friends" that feel the same. The minute the phone rings I grab the broom out of the closet and start sweeping the floors because otherwise I find the whole experience very agitating. Thanks for the great article.
