in a world that pushes absolutes, exploring the complexity of our grey matter(s)
It's natural to break information down into digestible categories. If we didn't, how could our minds make sense or use of anything we take in?...
But a useful tool can become self-limiting if it's the one we always pick up.
All or nothing, good or bad, male or female, success or failure, gay or straight, yes or no, always or never, right or wrong. These can all lead to a sense of division or disconnection - from ourselves, from others, and from the world around us.
Grey is a bridge. It's taking a step back so you can take two steps forward. It's holding seemingly incompatible truths at the same time. It's cutting a little slack for yourself and the world around you. Grey may take some work, but there's something about it that feels more like freedom.
With your input, let's make more grey...
